I use cotton quilting fabrics from various quality suppliers both local and around the world. Cotton is first ironed to heavyweight interfacing then ironed into quarters then wrapped around webbing. Finally I stitch down both sides of the webbing with my industrial machine and triple bonded nylon thread, and the hardware is added. Cotton collars have plastic slide size adjusters whereas our ribbon collars have metal ones. Why? Because the cotton collars are noticeably thicker and more durable. Collars can be machine washed and hung to dry.
